Description

It is possible to take a Bachelors degree in Celtic languages and cultures.
Modern Irish and Modern Welsh language are taught and both are offered at ab initio level. Earlier Irish and Earlier Welsh language and literature are offered, and Earlier Irish and Earlier Welsh may be studied at ab initio level. Modern Irish and Modern Welsh can be taken as a minor element of a degree and Earlier Irish and Earlier Welsh may be studied at postgraduate Masters level. Research interests within the department include Medieval Irish and Welsh literature.
