Description |
Language and literature classes are offered in Scottish Gaelic, Modern and Earlier Welsh, and in Modern and Earlier Irish. Old and Modern Irish may be studied at degree, Masters and PhD level, whilst Scottish Gaelic, Modern and Earlier Welsh may be studied as minor elements of a degree. |

| While Welsh is on offer it has not been taken by students in recent years due to the structure of our degree. The new modular structure will allow for some flexibility and should enable us to include Welsh (and perhaps other languages) as part of the new Celtic Studies degree. |
